We are a focused brokerage — not a stocking distributor — sitting at the intersection of a vetted global supplier network and the operators, MROs, and brokers who need parts sourced quickly and certified properly.
Aviation sourcing is fundamentally a documentation problem disguised as a parts problem. Our specialty is the technical work behind every quote: finding the right part, validating the trace, coordinating Letter of Compliance approvals with OEMs, and ensuring every shipment arrives with complete FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1, or dual-release documentation as the operator requires.
Austin Stout founded Airplane Parts Direct in 2025 and personally handles RFQs, vendor coordination, and customer relationships. Through Spotlight Media LLC — APD's parent company — Austin worked alongside aviation manufacturers, MROs, and operators on marketing and brand positioning, providing the industry foundation that became the basis for APD.
